Saltwash table

One more furniture painting project checked off the list! I bought this very old antique table back in the Spring. It's kind of a very small dining table size, but is not being used as a dining table. It's the kind that had layers of dark stain, and wheels!!!
Most of the furniture in this room has been painted, actually all of it has. I wanted this table to fit in with the other pieces in the room, so I used saltwash again.

Here's some before pics, not the best and taken with my phone...but you get the idea. I have already stripped the old stain from the top with Citristrip. And man, is that stuff easy to use, and works well. Paint it on, wait a bit, then just easily scrape off. And no odor! I only stripped the top so I could stain it, I just cleaned and painted over the legs and skirt of the table.
In the photo above, you can see where the old stain has been stripped.
And below, close ups of the saltwash finish. Again I stuck to my blue/aqua/off white colors and either left some of the dark underlying finish to show through, or else I sanded some off.

I love the textured multi-layer look. Perfect old beachy vibes for my room :) Aren't the details on the legs just so yummy?

The top has been done with a grey driftwood look stain, and also off white chalk paint dry brushed on and wiped off. I wanted the look to match with 2 previous projects, my dining table  and my end table.
