Sharing the talent

When I first started this blog years ago, it was mainly for my nature/flower photos. Then I started the portrait photography business and started up a separate blog for that. Then I began making cards and templates to share, and started a blog for THAT!  Am I keeping up with them all? Sometimes.

But this one has evolved into more than just a place for me to upload my artistic photos. I'm trying to connect more with other like minded people in the blogging world that have wonderful creative talents that they share.
I've come across so many very artistic and generous people that make it a regular habit to share for free or at a minimal cost all their hard work.

I've decided to start "spotlighting" some of the people that I follow. Point you in their direction. Open up the world that is their blog to you. Many of you may already know and follow them. Some may be new.
So the name for my blog "Inspirations" has become more than just my personal inspirations as shared through my art, but will also include people that inspire me....in many different ways.

If you have someone in mind that you'd like to see "spotlighted" here, drop me an email, or leave a comment here.
I'll be starting right after the first of the year. I'm not sure how often I'll feature someone, but I hope at least once a month.

Now whats a post without a photo?  One of the new things I'm hooked on photographing...old books! And using textures of course! Which will lead me right to my post in a few days.............. come back to find out!

All these images and more are in my Etsy shop. You can click on the banner to the right to go there:)

Thanks for stopping by......Sylvia Share

  1. I "discovered" you on my friend Isabelle LaFrance's Photography page this morning. She would be a great one to "spotlight" in 2011. She is one of the most generous photographers out there and has helped me so much in photography and becoming more "computer and PS" savy. Not to mention, she is a fabulous photographer!

Another one I think would be great to "spotlight" would be Rita with CoffeeShop designs. I ADORE her website and continue to learn from her easy-to-understand tutorials. Plus, ALL her textures, templates, actions, etc are FREE! That's amazing to find in this day and age. She's all about sharing the gifts of knowledge.

Happy 2011, Sylvia, from your new fan!

  2. What a fabulous idea! There are really so many inspirational photographers. I find you inspirational so I can't wait to see who you find inspirational! I said "inspirational" a lot right there. Have a great New Years!

  3. I can't wait to see who you spotlight - maybe I might come across a blog that I've never known about.

  4. @Tracy, those 2 great ladies are already on my list:)

  5. Like several of the others I find your work so inspirational, so I can't wait to see who you find inspiration from. Two others beside the ones already mentioned, and yourself, is Michelle Kane, and NicoleV Photography.

  6. Your work is gorgeous!!!!!!! You know I love love love everything you create!!!!! I need a wall in my house devoted to your work LOL I love all the old books...gorgeous!!!!!
