Dec {week one giveaway!!!}

It's December already, how did that happen so fast? I had all kinds of plans for a weekly giveaway for this month, but I'm not sure I'll be able to  find the time.
At least I  have one to start things out.
I made up this little wallet 2011 calendar with a template from EW Couture, and used 12 of my "shabby chic" floral images that are for sale in my Etsy Shop.
These are just like the little mini albums that I make for clients with images from their portrait sessions, except this is wallet sized instead of square.

So here's what to do for the give-away!

  1. Be a follower of this blog. Scroll down a bit and on the right column, you can follow with google or networked blogs. Leave me a comment telling me one of your FAVORITE Christmas memories!! That will give you your first entry.
  2. For another entry, head over to my FB fan page and like it, leave a comment on the wall, then come back here and let me know you've done so. (If already a fan, you can make another comment telling me that and leave a post on my wall about this giveaway too.)
  3. For a third entry, on YOUR FB wall post this: @Sylvia Cook Photography has a give-away on her blog. Make sure you do the "@" sign so it creates the link to my business page.
The contest will end in one week (Dec 9th at 8pm). Winner chosen by Random.org.

Please be sure you leave an email in your comment so I can contact the winner!!!

So here's what the  cute little calendar looks like. Front and back cover is brown leather, and the pages are glossy UV coated. Nice for a purse or......HEY a stocking stuffer!

Update: This little prize is going to Colleen from Chasing Dreams Photography (comment #10) Thanks for playing along ladies!

    Thanks for stopping by......Sylvia Share

  1. Favorite Christmas memory.. Last year was my sons 2nd Christmas and it was the first year he could open gifts. I loved watching him rip open the gifts not caring what was inside but just because he loves ripping paper. Our family is so young I am looking forward to the day my kids can sit at the table and make the Christmas gingerbread house with me.

  2. Oh, Sylvia, this is soooo cute! I'm following via my reader, not sure if that's google or otherwise, but anyway, I am! Favorite Christmas memories – opening presents from Santa, when we didn't realize his handwriting was suspiciously like my Dad's!

  5. My fave memory...as a child, we always left Santa 7up & cookies. Mom said Santa probably got tired of drinking milk all night & wouldn't it be nice to give him something different? As we got a little older, we figured out that mom didn't like milk, but she did drink 7up! But we still kept leaving 7up & cookies until I was in my teens!!

  9. One of my favorite Christmas memories is the last Christmas that my Grandmother was alive. I was 14 years old and I didn't know at the time that my Grandmother was dying (ovarian cancer) I just thought she was sick...I did all of her holiday decorating that year. I can still see her face giggling as I climbed up and down the ladder decorating her tree (which was VERY TALL) I was shoving Christmas ornaments in the pockets of my overalls, inside the top of my overalls and any where else I could..while singing Christmas songs. my Grandmother was very amused by me...She passed away a few weeks later. I hold that special memory very dear to my heart.

  11. Favorite Christmas Memory

Everyone in my moms house had gotten what they wanted for Christmas except my brother. He had a sad sort of look on his face after opening all his gifts. When me and my husband walked in with a large weight bench set his eyes filled with joy as he yelled "WHOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAA" :)

  13. Favorite Christmas Memory,is the sweet smell of my new baby dolls so many years ago. I bought them for my girls too but they just didn't have that same sweet scent.

  14. Favourite Christmas memory...I remember when I was four coming down the stairs to see a chalkboard with the most amazing drawing of Santa on it signed Merry Christmas, Love Santa. My father took a picture with his polaroid camera that REALLY looked like Santa disappearing up the chiminey. I still don't know how he did that. That Christmas was so magical. I was sure Santa was watching us that day. He made me believe it magic and although he is gone...I still hear his voice and remember the magic he brought to my Christmas. That was 1966 and I still feel that way today!
